Liebster Award #2

I was nominated for one of these a couple of months ago but seeing as I just got two new noms from the lovely Sam (The Book Corner) & Elizabeth (Between The Lines) I thought I'd take part again. After all, I do like to talk and these ARE different questions! So enjoy and thank you Sam & Elizabeth for this, here are my answers.

Why did you start your blog and when?

I wish it was something more interesting than utter boredom! I'm on a year out from university and I was reading so much I felt like I needed something else to do. Then after writing a book I didn't want to stop, so I started writing reviews.

What is your favourite book series and why?

I'd usually say the Divergent series by Veronica Roth, however, I'm a little bit in love with the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness at the moment. Sexy, intelligent vampires and a leading lady with an actual, fully functioning brain in her head!

Paperback or ebook?

I'll always love a paperback and I don't think anything will change that! Although since blogging I've been using a kindle and I love it. Sometimes it's just easier.

Where is your favourite place to read?

In the summer I love to read in the garden and in the winter there's nothing better than snuggling up in bed with a good book!

What was the last book that you rad that left you speechless?

Sever by Lauren DeStephano! It's the last book in The Chemical Gardens trilogy and there was a moment that just broke my heart. I had nothing to say. I was dead inside for about a month after reading it.

Which book are you most looking forward to reading this summer? 

Just the one? Damn... The final All Souls books is out this summer so probably The Book Of Life by Deborah Harkness.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

If I was being particle then NYC! I've always wanted to live in that city and it would be the perfect place to start my design career. However, I've always wanted to live in Florence or Rome or Venice - basically anywhere in Italy!

You are stranded on an Island and can only take one book with you, which book is it and why?

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins because I'm going to need an epic book boyfriend to keep me company.

If you could tell everyone in the world to only read one book which book would it be?

No... I can't... sorry! That's way to much pressure.

I'm 21 

I'm English though and through

I have three cats, Abby, Felix and Dexter... Dex was named after the cartoon but takes after the serial killer. 

I have one serious impulse buying problem!

I study Textile Design at University, although I'm currently taking a year out

I have one brother - younger (Just) - who is 6ft 9"tall!! No jokes!

Vampires get on my nerves

I don't have a favourite movie, although when people ask I say The History Boys

When I was little I wanted to be a Charmed One!

I fully believe in Dream Catchers.

I have a small - yet not too worrying - addiction to Netflix.

1. Have you ever traveled outside of your own country?

Yes. I've been to scotland and wales... if that counts! And I also when to Disney Land Paris a couple of times when I was really little.

2.What book would you NOT like to be made into a movie?

That's a tough one... maybe The House of Night books? Just because we've got enough vampires as it is.

3. Which book character do you relate to most?

Sophie May from Billy and Me! She's anxious and quite and crafty.

4. Name one book that you absolutely hated.

Twilight! 

5.  Favourite childhood movie?

Anything Disney

6. If you had to give up television or music, which would you choose?

Music. I couldn't live without Friends!

7. Which book should everyone read?

Divergent 

8. What is the last book you read?

Tease

Nathan Fillion... I think he'd know what do to! Although I'm not sure how i'd get a hold of him...

10. If you could visit any county, which country would you choose and why?

Italy! I don't think it needs explaining...

11. If you could live in a different ear, which era would it be?

I'd have liked the 1920's... although I think any time other than now I'd get in a lot of trouble because I don't know how to hold my tongue. I like the Tudor period but I'd get burned at the stake for witchcraft by the end of the day!
